A tribute to greatness and inspiration. In this project, Reelab Studio explores the visceral bond between an idol and those who dream of following in their footsteps. Through visual storytelling that alternates iconic archive footage with original cinematic shots, we created a perfect parallel between the legend of Tiger Woods and the dedication of a young athlete.

What the video shows
The video alternates archive images from golf tournaments, with the crowds and the legend's shots, with original footage of a young athlete: photos of his idol on his bedroom wall, a golf ball held tight in his hand, the green, the red polo shirt. Two stories running in parallel, until they overlap.
Why a spec commercial
A spec commercial is an ad made on your own initiative, without a commission from the brand. It shows how an idea is conceived and told when there are no constraints. Here, the heart of the work is the edit: making iconic archive footage talk to original shots, filmed with a cinematic language, until a parallel between two stories emerges.
